Amy joined the firm in 2004 as part of the audit staff and has expertise in HUD, MSHA, and Rural Development low-income housing audits and not-for-profit audits. In her role as Senior Accountant, she is responsible for planning and overseeing audits, reviews and compilations; financial statement preparation; HUD and Rural Development online filing; preparation of partnership and non-profit tax returns; and assisting with other tax preparation as needed. She also performs the firm’s internal quality control review. Previously employed with James D. MacArthur, CPA, Amy brings a great deal of audit and accounting experience to the firm. She graduated as Salutatorian with a BS degree in accounting from Husson College and is a member of the AICPA, AHACPA, MREMA, and Maine Society of CPAs. Amy is involved with the local chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and helps to organize the annual Brewer MS Walk. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, and spending time with her children.
