Michael joined BBSC, CPAs in 2002 and assumed the managing principal roll in 2015. Michael has more than 20 years experience in public accounting. In addition to his managing principal responsibilities, Michael also heads up the firm’s Audit and Attest practice—overseeing audit, review, and compilation services to ensure compliance with professional standards, ethics, and regulations. Michael serves several industries, including: affordable housing, construction, transportation, and non-profits. He earned accounting degrees from both NMTC and Southern New Hampshire University. Michael currently serves as treasurer for Penobscot Community Health Center and other local area non-profits, and serves on the Report Acceptance Body for New England Peer Review. Michael is a member of the Maine Society of CPAs and the AICPA. In his off time, he enjoys camp and spending time with his family.
